The true measure of success isn’t always in medals - it’s in showing up, standing tall, and giving your all. The students of University of Rawalpindi did exactly that at the recently held NSCon'25 at FAST Islamabad.
From the adrenaline-pumped gaming arenas to the fiercely contested sports fields, our students took part in a variety of competitions, including cricket, futsal, badminton, speed programming, and the intense Bug-Catcher coding challenge. Each event was a display of relentless passion, team spirit, and sheer courage to compete on a national stage.
While the scoreboard may not have reflected a win this time, every match played, every code compiled, and every moment spent cheering for one another told a story of heart and hustle. The UOR contingent showed what it means to play with purpose - representing our institution with pride, positivity, and resilience.
The gaming competitions buzzed with energy as our students faced off in digital duels, while the sports fields were alive with thrilling cricket strokes, strategic futsal moves, and agile badminton rallies. On the programming side, our coders took on challenging tasks, debugging and speed-coding under pressure, embodying the very spirit of perseverance.
As one of our students aptly put it:
"Winning isn’t the only victory, showing up with heart is a triumph on its own."
We celebrate our students for stepping out, standing up, and staying spirited. NSCon'25 wasn’t just about scores; it was about stories of bravery, camaraderie, and the courage to compete. Here’s to more opportunities, bigger stages, and continued passion in the years ahead. Well done, team UOR - you’ve made us proud!
