Dr. Muhammad Abubakar, Rector, University of Rawalpindi, participated in a special demonstration of the CUI Digital Suite held at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), alongside Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar and Vice Chancellors and Rectors representing universities across Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The session was hosted by Rector COMSATS University Islamabad Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar and provided an opportunity to explore locally developed digital solutions designed to enhance university governance, administration, and operational efficiency. The demonstration highlighted how technology-driven systems can support institutions in streamlining processes, improving transparency, strengthening decision-making, and creating more efficient institutional workflows.
The gathering also served as a valuable platform for interaction and knowledge sharing among leaders of higher education institutions. Discussions and demonstrations focused on the potential of indigenous digital solutions to address institutional needs while supporting the broader digital transformation of Pakistan’s higher education sector.
