University of Rawalpindi (UOR) participated in Innovative Pakistan 2026, the country’s premier national student innovation platform, hosted at The University of Faisalabad in collaboration with multiple higher education institutions from across Pakistan.
The event brought together more than 50 universities and showcased over 1,000 student projects, making it one of the largest national-level exhibitions aimed at promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and academia-industry linkages. The platform served as a hub for young innovators to present their ideas to industry experts, academicians, and potential investors.
The vision of Innovative Pakistan 2026 focused on developing a research-driven and future-ready generation by recognizing outstanding projects and encouraging commercialization of innovative ideas. The expo featured multiple incentives, including 10 encouragement awards of PKR 15,000 each, along with a flagship SEED Fund of PKR 250,000 to support the transformation of promising student ideas into market-ready solutions.
Representing University of Rawalpindi, Prof. Dr. Fahim Arif led the university delegation at the event. In addition, three student projects from the Department of Computing and Intelligent Systems were showcased, highlighting the creativity and technical competence of UOR students in emerging fields of technology and intelligent systems.
The participation of UOR in this prestigious national platform reflects the university’s continued commitment to fostering innovation, strengthening industry-academia collaboration, and empowering students to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s technological advancement
