UOR Marks International Firefighters’ Day with Safety Awareness Session

University of Rawalpindi (UOR) marked International Firefighters’ Day with an informative session conducted in collaboration with Rescue 1122. The session aimed to raise awareness about fire safety and emergency preparedness among students.
During the session, students gained practical insights into fire prevention measures, emergency response protocols, and basic lifesaving techniques. The interactive engagement helped participants better understand how to respond effectively in critical situations and reinforced the importance of safety awareness in everyday life.
The initiative also paid tribute to the courage and dedication of firefighters, while promoting a culture of responsibility, preparedness, and community safety within the university.
