UOR Joins Pilot Launch of SDG Youth Campaign “Hum Hain Pakistan”
University of Rawalpindi (UOR) participated in the pilot launch of the SDG Youth Campaign “Hum Hain Pakistan”, held at the Parliament House under the National Parliamentary Taskforce on Sustainable Development Goals. The initiative aims to promote youth engagement and strengthen student participation in national development and sustainability efforts.
Representing UOR at the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Muhammad Abubakar, Rector of the University of Rawalpindi, attended the event alongside representatives from participating institutions and national stakeholders. UOR was also represented by Dr. Saniya Moazzam, who has been nominated as the university’s SDG Focal Person and will coordinate UOR’s engagement with the campaign.
The participation reflects UOR’s continued commitment to promoting responsible citizenship, sustainable development awareness, and meaningful youth involvement in national initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
