UoR Hosts Welcome Party for Fall 2025 Students
University of Rawalpindi marked the arrival of its Fall 2025 cohort with a vibrant welcome party, an evening that brought together everyone for a well-organised and memorable celebration on a grand scale. Event was attended by students, faculty, and staff, creating a cohesive and engaging start to the new academic year.
The night’s highlight was the presence of Rector Dr. Muhammad Abubakar, whose participation added immense value to the celebration. His warm words of encouragement set the tone for the year ahead, motivating students to embrace their university journey with dedication, creativity, and ambition.
Celebration offered a rich mix of activities, ensuring that every student found something to enjoy. Quick interactive games kept the audience engaged and created a lively atmosphere. The performances that followed showcased incredible student talent, from singing to cultural dances, including Attan and other traditional styles that brought the crowd to its feet.
A captivating Qawali session later in the evening added a touch of cultural depth, filling the venue with rhythm and emotion. The stage, lighting, and overall arrangements were widely praised by attendees, with many calling it one of UoR’s most well-organized events to date.
In a special moment of recognition, the Chairman Board of Governors awarded certificates of appreciation to senior students who played a key role in organizing the event for their juniors. Their efforts helped make the evening a success, reflecting the university’s spirit of teamwork and leadership.
