UOR Hosts NexusAI Fest 2026 to Showcase AI Innovation
The Department of Computing and Intelligent Systems at University of Rawalpindi (UOR) successfully organized NexusAI Fest 2026, bringing together students to demonstrate their creativity and practical skills in artificial intelligence. The event featured four competition categories: AI Art & Design, AI Web Development, AI Mobile App Development, and AI Video Production.
Students developed innovative AI-powered solutions and presented their work before a panel of evaluators. The projects were assessed on innovation, functionality, AI integration, and overall execution, encouraging participants to apply emerging technologies to real-world challenges.
The festival concluded with an awards ceremony in which winning teams received cash prizes and certificates, while all participants were recognized for their efforts. Awards and certificates were distributed by Dr. Muhammad Abubakar, Rector, University of Rawalpindi, who appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and commitment to technological innovation.
NexusAI Fest 2026 reflected UOR’s commitment to promoting hands-on learning, digital skills, and innovation-driven education in the field of artificial intelligence.
