University of Rawalpindi Participates in Hum Hain Pakistan SDG Youth Campaign Training

Dr. Saniya Moazzam represented the University of Rawalpindi at the SDG Youth Campaign Focal Persons Training, held at Parliament House, Islamabad, on 20 August 2026.

The training was organized under Hum Hain Pakistan, a platform that mobilizes young people in their own classrooms and their own communities to participate in initiatives linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The session brought together focal persons from participating educational institutions to discuss youth engagement and the implementation of SDG-related activities.

Participants received guidance on the campaign’s objectives, project implementation, student engagement, and documentation. Pamphlets, booklets, and project execution guidelines were also provided to support focal persons in planning, implementing, and documenting SDG-related projects and activities at their respective universities.

As part of the campaign, Dr. Saniya Moazzam will coordinate the assigned activities at University of Rawalpindi and guide students in developing and implementing Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs). Students will also be encouraged to participate in SDG awareness and community engagement activities.

University of Rawalpindi is committed to providing its students with opportunities to participate in meaningful initiatives that connect learning with community engagement and sustainable development. UOR will continue to encourage youth-led efforts that contribute to the SDGs and Pakistan’s development priorities.
