University of Rawalpindi Students Participated in URAAN YPDC Fellowship 2026

University of Rawalpindi (UOR) was represented at the URAAN YPDC Fellowship Program 2026, held in Islamabad from 11th to 18th August 2026, by two students: Awais Rehman, General Secretary of the UOR YPDC Chapter, and Zoyia Aimen, Vice President of the UOR YPDC Chapter.

The seven-day fellowship brought together young people from across Pakistan and featured engaging training sessions, interactive discussions, leadership activities, networking, and cultural exchange. The program also included sessions in collaboration with UNICEF, focusing on youth participation, social development, community engagement, and other important social issues.

As part of the program, student of UOR, Zoyia Aimen, also had the opportunity to co-host the Cultural Night, which brought participants from different regions together to celebrate Pakistan’s diverse cultures and traditions. The experience further strengthened her communication, teamwork, coordination, and leadership skills.

The fellowship provided both UOR students with meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom, allowing them to exchange ideas, connect with young people from diverse backgrounds, and gain a broader understanding of youth leadership and social development.

University of Rawalpindi takes pride in its students’ participation at national platforms and remains committed to providing opportunities that foster leadership, experiential learning, confidence, and community engagement. Through initiatives such as the YPDC, University of Rawalpindi continues to encourage students to broaden their perspectives and play an active role in society.
