University of Rawalpindi Hosts Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Celebration
University of Rawalpindi organized an Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebration, bringing together students, faculty members and university management to commemorate the blessed occasion and reflect on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Organized by the Office of Student Affairs, the event provided a spiritually uplifting environment where participants came together to express their love and respect for the Holy Prophet ﷺ and reflect upon the values demonstrated throughout his life. The gathering highlighted the importance of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ and its relevance in shaping personal character and everyday conduct.
The program featured recitation from the Holy Quran, Naat recitation and religious speeches. The proceedings were hosted by Mr. M. Faran, who guided the audience through the different segments of the program.
Dr. Aziz Haider, Researcher and Islamic Scholar, delivered a special address on the exemplary life and character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He reflected on the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ and emphasized values such as compassion, honesty, humility, patience, integrity and respect.
The gathering encouraged students and members of the university community to reflect beyond the celebration and consider how the teachings and values of the Holy Prophet ﷺ can be incorporated into their personal, academic and social lives. It also highlighted the importance of character building and ethical values alongside academic and professional development.
The event concluded with a collective Dua, followed by the distribution of sweets among the participants. The celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for the University of Rawalpindi community to come together in remembrance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ and reflect on the timeless teachings and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
