Students of BBA and BSAF programs visited the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to gain valuable exposure to Pakistan’s capital market. The visit was organized to enhance their understanding of financial systems and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world financial practices.
At PSX, students attended an interactive session where they were introduced to the functioning of the stock exchange, including trading mechanisms, investment processes, and overall market operations. They also observed live market activity, which helped them understand how financial transactions are executed in a real trading environment.
Following the PSX session, students attended a separate briefing with brokers from Pine Capital Management (Private) Limited, a brokerage firm located in the same building as PSX. During this session, they were guided on the practical aspects of trading, the role of brokers in executing transactions, and the operational dynamics of capital market participation.
The visit proved to be an enriching academic experience, allowing students to connect theoretical concepts with practical industry exposure and strengthening their understanding of Pakistan’s financial sector.
