University of Rawalpindi successfully hosted the Pakistan National Rounds of the 30th Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition 2025–26, a three-day national-level competition, with 28 teams from universities across Pakistan participating. Organised in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, the University of Faisalabad, Green International University Lahore, and Stetson University, Florida (USA), the competition progressed from preliminary rounds focused on contemporary environmental law to highly competitive quarterfinal, semifinal, and championship stages.
Following multiple rounds of advocacy, the championship round was adjudicated by a distinguished panel comprising members of the judiciary, legal practitioners, and academia. The final was contested between Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) as the applicant state and the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, as the respondent state, with LUMS declared the champion of the Pakistan National Rounds. UCP Lahore secured the runner-up position, while the Institute of Legal Studies (TILS), Lahore, achieved third place.

Several special awards were also presented in recognition of outstanding performance, including Spirit of the Moot, Best Speaker, Best Researcher, and Best Memorial. Prof. Dr. Sami Ur Rahman, National Administrator of the Stetson Pakistan National Rounds, presented shields of honor and acknowledged the continued support of the collaborating universities.

The top three teams and one organising university team, LUMS, UCP Lahore, TILS Lahore, and The University of Faisalabad, will represent Pakistan at the International Rounds of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, scheduled to be held at Stetson University, Florida, USA, in April next year.
