Important Information

Eligibility

Accommodation is available to currently enrolled University of Rawalpindi students, with preference given to those living outside Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

Required documents:
• Student’s and guardian’s CNIC
• Passport-size photograph
• Visitor photographs
• Completed hostel application form

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee accommodation.

Room Allocation

Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Two-, three-, and four-seater rooms are available, with separate accommodation for male and female students.

Allocation details will be shared through official university communication channels. Room preferences may be considered but are not guaranteed, and the university reserves the right to change allocations when necessary.

Hostel Rules & Regulations

General Conduct: Respect all students, staff, and hostel personnel.

Visitors: Visitors are not allowed inside the hostel and may only be met in designated campus areas.

Property: Do not damage, remove, misuse, or alter hostel property. Students may be charged for any damage.

Prohibited Activities: Drugs, pets, cooking, unauthorized appliances, harassment, gambling, excessive noise, room swapping, and unauthorized entry are prohibited.

Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness, follow hostel timings, pay dues promptly, conserve utilities, protect valuables, and report emergencies.

Clearance: Submit a clearance request one week before departure, clear all dues, and return the room key.

Discipline: Violations may result in disciplinary action, hostel expulsion, or loss of future accommodation eligibility.

07. When should I pay the fee?
Pay according to the University’s approved schedule and deadlines.

08. Can I request a room change?
Yes, subject to availability and hostel approval.

09. Can I cancel after payment?
Yes. Any refund will follow the University’s refund policy.
